Background
In France, almost 100.000 Deaf and Hard-of-hearing persons are working in public and private companies. They don't have access to telephone, meetings or training sessions. The way they communicate with their environment is often paved with difficulties.
The Innovation
Today – thanks to Tadeo – Deaf and Hard-of-hearing people can receive and make phone calls, they can participate in meetings and be trained in all autonomy; like any other person, they can communicate with their environment.
The Service
Through the software developed by Tadeo, a Deaf or hard-of-hearing employee can get in touch with any other hearing person from the same company or not.
Tadeo provides a wide range of real-time remote services such as:
- Instant Speech-to-Text Transcription (ISTT)
- Visio-interpretation in French Sign Language
- Cued Speech (CS)
- Lips reading associated with Transcription (RepeaWriting – RW)
