During the experiment phase, which already demonstrates the relevance of the first answers to the professional needs, the partners decide to create, starting next July, the 1st platform intended to assure the communication between hearing and hard of hearing persons.

Tadeo’s history :

• in December, 2006 : launch of the technical and economic feasibility study of Tadeo.
• in April, 2007 : the partners decide to transform the study into reality.
• in October, 2007 : launch of the experiment phase.
• in April, 2008 : the partners decide to create Tadeo’s 1st platform.
• in July, 2008 : creation of the platform.
• in November, 2008 : provision of the service

In July, 2008 : TadeoGo!!!

As from July, Tadeo passes from its experimental phase to its operational phase. This new stage has for objective to deliver the service with a progressive load increase.

Involving a new profession in a new environment, Tadeo will integrate its own school of training and all the expertise necessary for the evaluation and for the evolution of the service.


Tadeo … For Whom … For What?

For the record and in some main examples, the partners objectives are to satisfy :

• at the functional needs of the 4 universes: "company", hearing, hard of hearing and TadeOpérateur (LSF interpreters and transcribers),
• to the variety of the professional situations (meetings, conversations, phone conversations, international relations, etc.),
• the IT security and in the confidentiality of the exchanges,
• the hourly availability, etc…

As many features to take into account as partners joining the project.


Experiments

Today, Tadeo is experimented by numerous deaf and hearing users, the professions by which are multiple: accountants, graphic designers, engineers, computer specialists, assistants, developers, technicians, etc.

The cases of use are thus varied: from the phone call in LSF (French Sign Language), to the subtitled phone conference, by way of the meeting and of the international exchange, interpreted by TadeOpérateur, from LSF into oral English …

Experience feedback is very positive. Managers and co-workers glimpse and already envisage the future differently: autonomy, greater understanding of the orders, the participation and\or the animation of meetings and trainings, evolution towards professional ways until then closed …


Presentation meetings

Tadeo invites all the « companies », interested in the project, to come and attend the presentations organized every Tuesday afternoons in the premises of Delta Process. Hearing and hard of hearing persons express themselves, exchange and phone with and around Tadeo.
