The 1st Accessibility Awards!

 
As a partner of the 1st Accessibility Awards ceremony, Tadeo has made all its lectures accessible on February 2nd at Palais de Chaillot.
The Accessibility Awards have been organized by the National Council for the Handicapped and the « Access for All » association, under the High Patronage of the Prime Minister.
« The Accessibility Awards of 2011 have rewarded dynamic and wholly upheld long-term initiatives, as well as actions pushing for a change in general perception and behaviour »
-- Monique Pelletier, President of the National Council for the Handicapped, former Minister of Family, as well as member of the Constitutional Council of France.

Winners of the Accessibility Awards:

« Youth council » Award : Youth Town Council of Chassieu, for the field trips their organized to raise handicap awareness among citizens.

« Youth » Award : Cours d'Orsay secondary school, for their "Draw me a kite" event, which allowed primary school students to meet with young physically challenged people.

« Work » Award : National Forest Service and the Gecina Foundation, for their work to make a nature trail accessible in the Meudon Forest.

« Association » Award : Handisport Brest, which prompts "open" sports clubs to welcome handicapped people into their teams.

« Association » Award : "White Butterflies of the Haut-Rhin", which has allowed 84 % of young mentally challenged people to use public transportation.

« Local Authority » Award: Saint-Germain-en-Laye city council, for everything they have done.
